What is Reiki ?
Developed in Japan, Reiki (pronounced RAY-key) is a gentle form of complementary therapy by which the practitioner uses light touch (or no touch) to facilitate energy flow within the body and engage the parasympathetic nervous system. Reiki does not replace traditional western medicine, but is a gentle, non-invasive healing technique that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance—physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Yady is a Reiki Master Teacher, and she works with people dealing with stress, pain, or emotional fatigue. It’s deeply calming, like a reset for the nervous system. Reiki isn’t a religion or belief system—it’s a therapeutic practice used in hospitals and wellness centers worldwide. People often say they leave feeling more grounded, clear, and centered.
Reiki Sessions
A Reiki session typically consists of the client lying down fully clothed, with the practitioner using a gentle touch. If preferred, Reiki can also be administered without touch or while the client is seated. Distance sessions are also available.
The experience of receiving Reiki varies for each individual, but you may feel warmth, calm, and joy. Emotional release is also common. Some simply enjoy deep relaxation.
